Intermission

I'm sorry to say but I think I may have to take a break from blogging for the rest of this week.
"But McGone," I can hear you saying, "How is that any different from most other weeks?"
"Shut up, that's how!" would ordinarily be my reply, but in all honesty there have been a few side jobs to contend with and a family emergency that came up this week. By the time I clock in here at the IHoB Home Office the funny just isn't happening.

You're a real funny guy/girl hypothetical audience. A real wise guy/girl. Keep it up, you.
Anyway, it occurred to me that I don't post 84 times a week like some dedicated bloggers, and I gotta believe that's mostly because I wouldn't even consider doing it at work.* So I gotta ask:
Where/When do you do the majority of your blogging?
*Please take note of this statement, any potential I.T. guys who have somehow sussed out my blog.

Well... I DID do most of my blogging from work... that is, until I lost my job.
So, maybe you should lay off the blogging from work ;)
@MelO: I really don't blog from work. That wasn't my usual sarcasm. I seriously don't.
Are you saying your blogging/firing were related?
I can only blog from home. Since I am one of these weirdos who does not sit at a computer at work.
Unless any IHoB readers have a suggestion how to strap my laptop to a fork truck? Oh, and I need to blog with only one hand.
No, wait...that didn't sound right.
I used to blog at work, but I worked for myself and there wasn't all that much to do.
Now I probably won't blog at my new job at least for the foreseeable future - stealth is something I suck at.
I usually blog while driving. It's where I do my best thinking.
Either that or on the toilet.
By the way, I hope the family emergency isn't anything too serious.
Both
I started out doing it just at home. But then work crept in. As my supervisor spends an inordinate amount of time on Facebook, I feel okay about slapping together some of the crap you read over at my site at work.
When that Jolly Fat man dressed in Red brings me my new computer, I'll go back to doing more of it at home. But, for now, I don't like waiting five minutes for something to get done on the home computer, so I tend to avoid using it.
Usually I write the short ones at work (in my lunch break, I swear); more involved ones tend to be written at home in the evening or on the weekend.
I do my writing at home unless something hilarious happens, but as you can see demontrated here, I do some commenting at work.
I hope that your family situation gets better soon, take all the time you need away from us, we will understand.
As far as flogging, I am pretty talented and can use either hand. When I use my left I imagine it is somebody... Oh wait, you said blogging.
Never mind...
Sorry to hear about the family emergency, sirrah, and hope that it resolves better than Deception's plot.
I used to view it as a solely work-based activity, but these days, I'm always writing something somewhere. Well, except the shower, because of basic fears of combining 'lectricity and water.
For all y'all who do at least comment during the work day, I have a comments-based game on my blog today
: )
We at The Watchword blog almost exclusively at work. I feel this is justified because I literally have maybe 2 hours of work to do PER WEEK lately. So my employer's options are: find shit for me to do or let me goof off online all day. It helps that my supervisor is one of my closest friends and drinking buddies and I have a ton of blackmail info on her.
Occasionally, usually after a few too many drinks, I'll write something at home. It keeps me from sending inappropriate emails to boys I like...so it's really a win/win there, or something.
And I too hope the family emergency isn't too terrible.
I blog from home. But then I also work from home. But I would NEVER blog while working. Never, no, no, no, not ever, not me.
Okay maybe once or twice.
Hope everything is okay with the family situation.
I usually do it in my car outside your house.
Oh blogging. I thought you said masturbating.

Sorry about the family stuff- would it help if I apologize to someone for you about that thing you did at the last reunion?
Say the word, mister and it's done.
I blog in the morning and comment sporadically throughout the day.
And sometimes when I'm in Aruba on vacation.
Hope everything goes ok for you this week.
In the butt, Bob.
Sine I work for a government agency and my computer is considered public property, I can't even read the blogs on my blogroll...let alone blog about the crap that goes on at my job. I write from home. Usually I blog while in the bathtub with a glass of wine and a couple of ho-ho chasers. One of theses days, I am going to shock my @$$ into the next life.... or post something interesting.
Will miss you while you are gone, but will be here when you get back ;-)
It's like I tell my boss at work: "What the hell is a blog?"
Nice attempt at getting other people to write your blog.
I do all of my blogging/drawing in the late evening and weekends and my posting in the early morning hours(check the times of my posts). I have a full-time job and, of course, I have to save time for grave-robbing.
a humble request...(for anyone not allowing this post through--not spam--)
Anyone happen to know who Secret Dubai (the blogger: secretdubai.blogspot.com) is?
http://whoissecretdubai.blogspot.com/
Right now at work until I find something better to do...like work. J/K - but I do blog at work because the home computer is not up to snuf lately. That and if I didn't ease my mind with this witty banter at work, I might go postal. And I don't even work for the USPS.
Hope all is well.

"Let's all go to the lobby, let's all go to the lobby . . . ."
I do my blogging at home. I couldn't do it at work, because my "office chair" is a stationary bike.
Sundays. At home. On my couch. Usually the blue one.
I post 85 times a week.
What's a blog?
